  • Members of the DIPAMCO police special forces unit, accompanied by members of the National Police, search a slum neighborhood on the outskirts of San Pedro Sula, a major industrial hub noted for its violence, contested by the MS-13 street gang and the 'Aguacates' gang, as a part of the country's ongoing State of Emergency to fight gangs. Despite the emergency measures, murders and massacres have still been carried out. December, 2022.
