South Africa's Western Cape province will offer anti-AIDS treatment at 36 sites by March 2005, according to Dr Fareed Abdullah, the head of the province's HIV/AIDS programme.
The increase from the current 19 operational sites will represent full geographical coverage of the province.
Abdullah said 100 percent coverage would never be achieved, as there would always be people who refused treatment.
However, the province was hoping to reach everyone who wanted treatment over the next three years, the South African Press Association reported.
