International woman's conference in Sudan

    JOHANNESBURG

    The Society for Women and AIDS in Africa (SWAA) on Tuesday said its Sixth International Conference, will be held in Sudan from 26-29 May 2003.

    SWAA said the 2003 conference, "Access to Care and Treatment for Women, Children and Families in Africa" will bring together global community groups and people living with HIV/AIDS.

    "This is an opportunity for the global community to hear what women in Africa have to say and to learn from their experience and knowledge," SWAA said in a statement.

    SWAA said the conference will feature prominent guest speakers in the field and aims to explore and evaluate new HIV/AIDS intervention strategies and research methodologies.
