International NGO to invest US $903,650

    JOHANNESBURG

    Noeva Frontiera, an Italian NGO, would invest almost US $1 million in a sanitation project in Angola's central Kwanza-Sul province, ANGOP reported on Wednesday. The report quoted Noeva Frontiera representative in Kwanza-Sul, Enzo Pasoti, as saying that the European Union (EU)-sponsored project was aimed at providing medical assistance and at training staff in the health field.

    Money would also be used to supply surgical equipment, especially for Sumbe Central hospital, he said, adding that the project would last 18 months. According to the report, Noeva Frontiera has operated in the province since 1997 and has already assisted at the Kibala, Seles, Gabela and Sumbe hospitals.
