New pay phones to be installed

    ABIDJAN

    Ghana Telecom plans to instal at least 11,000 pay phones, including 1,000 GSM pay phones, nationwide over the next three years in an effort to provide services to a larger segment of the population, state-owned radio announced. According to UNESCO’s 2000 world report, Ghana has a six phones for every 1,000 habitants.
