The Ethiopian government has submitted claims to a the border commission, which was set up to settle the disputed border boundaries between Ethiopia and Eritrea, Agence France-Presse (AFP) said. Official Ethiopian media said that the foreign ministry had “presented its claims on the border issue with supporting evidences and analysis to the commission” earlier this month.
During a meeting held in the Hague from 1-3 July, Ethiopia raised issues of procedure with a separate commission set up in the wake of the war to deal with matters of compensation, AFP said. Ethiopia would submit compensation claims to that commission in December, state radio said.
