Over one million children vaccinated in Luanda

    JOHANNESBURG

    Health authorities vaccinated over one million children up to five years old against poliomyelitis in Luanda at the weekend, Angop reported on Monday. The vaccination programme was part of a joint effort between the government and the World Health Organisation. Many children were given doses of vitamin A, which prevents blindness, the report said.
