Buyoya launches national security council

    NAIROBI

    Burundi’s President Pierre Buyoya on Wednesday launched the national security council which was appointed by a presidential decree on 22 March, Burundi radio announced. The 11-man team will be responsible for presenting internal security regulations and strengthening security mechanisms.
