US Commander meets president

The commander of the US Central Command in East and Central Africa, General Tony Frank, arrived in Asmara on a two-day working visit to Eritrea. He was received by Defence Minister General Sebhat Ephrem, said official Eritrean radio on 16 January. The US general will hold talks with President Isayas Aferwerki and other government officials, the report said.
