The Sudanese news agency (SUNA) reported on Wednesday that the president announced the coming period “necessitates... the formation of a new government, with new faces” to cope with “recent developments”.
The president also said he looked forward “to a positive chapter” in relations with the US. He went on to say that Sudan would endeavour to work with the new administration in Washington, and that “errors of the past” would be overcome, the SUNA report said.
