A meeting of ‘Committee 5’ in the Burundi peace process was progressing reasonably in Arusha, an official of the facilitation team, Mark Bomani, said on Wednesday. He said although there could be differences of proposals on how to implement certain recommendations, “the meeting is going on reasonably well”. Bomani said the delegates have carried on with their deliberations on the issues addressed by the committees which have already finished. The facilitation team was set to meet next week to see if the draft document was in its final shape, he said. “There have been several changes in it,” he added.
