The Catholic church in Zimbabwe has called for an end to brutality, media reports said on Monday.
A statement by the Catholic Bishops Conference was quoted as saying that the church appealed to all parties to stop the violence and urged voters to go to the polls telling them "not to be afraid". "Whatever your choice, remember to vote for people who are God-fearing and who will respect human rights and dignity," the statement was also quoted as saying.
