Omar Kabbaj was on Monday unanimously re-elected for a second and final five-year term as president of the African Development Bank (ADB). Kabbaj, nominated by the government of his country, Morocco, was the sole candidate. His nomination was seconded by Algeria, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Rwanda, Senegal, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia and Uganda.
