Continued artillery exchanges on central front

Ethiopia said there was no fighting on any front on Tuesday. Government spokesperson Selome Taddesse accused Eritrea of creating “fictitious fighting and victories in order to deceive the international community and its own people”. But journalists who visited the area near Adi-Keih and Senafe on the central front reported continuing heavy artillery exchanges. The journalists, who travelled from Asmara, described the area behind the Eritrean front line as completely militarised with no civilians to be seen.
