Western donors unlikely to resume aid soon

    JOHANNESBURG

    Western donors were unlikely to resume aid to Zimbabwe soon unless it overhauls its political and economic policies, news reports said on Wednesday.

    According to the reports donors were not going to come on board for quite some time and they would first await the composition of the new government. They said that the 24 and 25 June elections would be the “key pointer” to the country’s future economic and political agenda.
