Buildings damaged in Kisangani

    NAIROBI

    Independent sources in Kisangani said the compounds of humanitarian agencies - notably ICRC, MSF-Belgium and UNICEF - were damaged by shelling on Friday. According to the sources, the centre of Kisangani and the Tchopo bridge are controlled by the Rwandans and the RCD-Goma rebels, while Ugandan troops control Bangoka airport along with Camp Base and Camp Kapalata.
