The presidents of Nigeria and the Republic of Niger, Olusegun Obasanjo and Douda Wanke, held discussions on Wednesday on refining crude oil discovered in commercial quantities in Niger, at the Nigerian refinery at Kaduna, Nigerian television reported. Both men also discussed the supply of electricity to Niger from Nigeria’s Kainji hydroelectric dam, in Kebbi State.
