Tribunal deports hundreds

    JOHANNESBURG

    Namibia’s Immigration Tribunal last week decided to deport about 600 non-residents who were accused of living illegally in the country, ‘The Namibian’ reported.

    Many were from Angola, while a sprinkling came from Liberia, Burundi, Tanzania, Botswana, Mozambique and South Africa. It said some of the Angolan women among the refugees reportedly complained that they had been arrested at Oshikango and held at Eenhana for three months before being brought before the tribunal.
