Kamikaze pilot destroys fleet

Three of Air Botswana’s four aircraft were destroyed in a dawn drama on Monday when a “kamikaze” pilot who had allegedly failed a medical test took to the air in one of the aircraft and crashed it into two others parked on the tarmac at the airport of the capital Gaborone. Newspaper accounts of the incident said the aircraft, all 42-seat turbo-prop planes, were fully insured and would be replaced. meanwhile, a South African company, SA Express stepped into the breach to ensure a normal schedule.
