Draft needs clarifying - Buyoya

    NAIROBI

    Burundi President Pierre Buyoya, who returned to Bujumbura on Thursday, said the draft accord needed some clarifications. “In my and many others’ view, the draft agreement has points which need thorough discussion,” he told journalists, according to Burundi Umwizero radio. “In some chapters, particularly those relating to the second commission on democracy and good governance, there are many issues, such as the electoral system, which should be addressed, corrected and made clearer.”
