Travel ban re-imposed on politicians

    ABIDJAN
    A ban on travel abroad by politicians, lifted on Thursday, was reinstated a day later by Cote d’Ivoire’s ruling Comite national de salut public (CNSP), which announced the measure in a communique on state television. The leader of the opposition Rassemblement des Republicains Alassane Ouattara had been prevented by the authorities from leaving the country for France on the day the ban was lifted.
