Lead by example to beat HIV/AIDS - Bishop

An Anglican Bishop has called on Kenya's religious and political leaders to be tested for HIV, the local East African Standard newspaper reported on Wednesday. Bishop Mwai Abiero urged the country's leaders to do this as a sign of their commitment to the fight against HIV/AIDS. "We must make bold decisions. Some seven hundred Kenyans are dying every day as a result of this scourge," he said. Abiero and a number of his immediate family members recently had themselves publicly tested for HIV.
