Immigrants arrested.

Namibia police have arrested about 40 illegal immigrants over the last two weeks, nine of whom appeared in court on Friday charged with entering the country illegally, ‘The Namibian’ daily reported. The newspaper said one the nine immigrants is believed to be a Rwandan while the rest are from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the Congo Republic. It added that the nine are believed to have been on their way to South Africa when they were arrested at Keetmanshoop railway station after a tip-off from members of the public.
