RUF halt UN supply convoy

    ABIDJAN

    The RUF detained at the weekend a supply convoy of five trucks carrying food to over 250 Indian peacekeepers encircled by rebels in Kailahun in the east of the country, Eckhard said. One truck was allowed in to supply the peacekeepers but negotiations are continuing for the release of the remaining vehicles.
