Israeli Knesset leader describes visit as "historical"

    ABIDJAN
    The head of the Israeli Knesset delegation, Naomi Chazan, said on Sunday that her historic visit to Mauritania was an opportunity to set up a Mauritanian-Israeli parliamentary association for peace. As the delegation was leaving Mauritania at the end of a six-day visit, she expressed the Knesset's wish to receive a Mauritanian parliamentary delegation in Israel.
