Refugees in Sierra Leone continue to return home

Seventy-one Liberian refugees arrived in Monrovia by boat from Sierra Leone on Monday, a refugee resettlement official, James Youquoi, told IRIN. Youquoi, of the Liberia Refugee Repatriation and Resettlement Commission (LRRRC), said on Tuesday that the refugees had been living in the Sierra Leonean cities of Freetown, Bo and Kenema. Returnees were safe, he said, and those who are residents of outlying counties have decided to stay with their relatives in Monrovia and its suburbs for the time being.
