Luanda condemns Portuguese MP's UNITA meeting

    JOHANNESBURG
    The Angolan government said at the weekend it was waiting for an "official explanation" from Portugal about a meeting held last week between UNITA and two Portuguese MP's. According to the Portuguese newspaper 'Diario de Notcicias' Mendes Carvalho, an MPLA deputy said the fact that Isaac Wambembe and Carlos Morgado were received in parliament compromised Portugal.
