UNITA says its men are close to Luanda

    JOHANNESBURG
    The military chief of Angola's UNITA rebel movement has said his men had reached positions within 70 km of the capital, Luanda. General Paulo Lukamba Gato, said in a Portuguese radio interview monitored by the BBC: "The more advanced guerrilla groups are already operating in that perimeter of 60 to 70 km from the capital, on the northern, eastern and southern sides." He said Angolan President Jose Eduardo dos Santos wanted war, and "he will get it and with fierce intensity".
