A satellite-based damage assessment for the city of Tskhinvali, South Ossetia, Georgia, is available from UNOSAT.

UNOSAT estimates 438 buildings within the mapped extent of Tskhinvali have been destroyed or severely damaged. This is an initial damage assessment and has not yet been independently verified on the ground. Click here to download the map/analysis and here to subscribe to RSS feeds from UNOSAT.
