Displaced camp in Sake attacked

    NAIROBI
    Humanitarian sources speak of a worsening situation in parts of North Kivu province, particularly around the Sake area. A displaced people’s camp in the town was attacked by men in uniform last week, the sources said. After the attack, in which several people were killed, the camp was set alight and several bodies burnt beyond recognition. The sources said up to 50 people may have been killed in the attack whose perpetrators are not known.
