Bomb blast in Cape Town

A bomb explosion rocked Cape Town’s International airport’s arrivals and departure halls on Tuesday, causing slight damage to four cars, news reports said. Bulelani Ngcuka, South Africa’s director of prosecutions, blamed the explosion on the anti-drugs group, People Against Gangsters and Drugs (PAGAD), two of whose members were appearing in court on the same day on charges of illegal possession of explosives and a firearm. “It is an attempt by PAGAD to show that they are still alive. It is a futile attempt to demonstrate what they can do. But we will get them behind bars,” Ngcuka said.
