Copies of a new Anti-Corruption Act translated into seven local languages are to be distributed in Nigeria as part of a campaign to sensitise the population to the government’s anti-corruption crusade, ‘The Guardian’ reported on Tuesday.
The newspaper cites the executive director of the National Orientation Agency as saying that the campaign would enable people to report corrupt public officials to the authorities. The body charged with making sure the law is enforced is the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission.
