A Djiboutian delegation is on a private visit in Uganda. Led by the Djibouti foreign minister, Farah Ali Abdi, it is looking into ways of enhancing bilateral trade and facilitating Uganda's use of the Djibouti port. Senior Djiboutian government officials on the delegation said Djibouti was set to import animal feeds and assorted produce from Uganda, the Ugandan government-owned daily, 'The New Vision', said on Wednesday. "We are on a private visit to develop a relationship with Uganda's business sector, and acquaint ourselves with its industries. We also want to see how Uganda can access the Djibouti port for trade," the governor of the central bank of Djibouti, Djama Haid, told 'The New Vision'. The delegation also includes the president of the Djibouti maritime companies, Saad Ahmed Cheik, and the Djibouti consul in Uganda, Muhammad Majyambere.
