Rights group calls for release of its Katanga representative

The African Association for the Defence of Human Rights (ASADHO) has sent a letter to DRC President Joseph Kabila to express concern over the arbitrary imprisonment of its Katanga province representative, Golden Misabiko, who has been in jail for six months now. Radio France Internationale (RFI) quoted ASADHO as saying that Golden Misabiko is being held hostage by the prosecutor of the military tribunal, whom the association had criticised for his role in the arrest and execution of Anselme Masasu Nindaga who was a former senior military aide of the late President Laurent-Desire Kabila and his companions.
