Business taking little action on AIDS - survey

A global survey of business leaders has shown that companies are not very active in combating HIV/AIDS, even though their businesses may be adversely affected by the pandemic. The "Business and HIV/AIDS: Who Me?" survey, conducted among 7,800 business leaders in 103 countries, suggests that leaders should provide more accurate information about the threat of HIV/AIDS in order to create a greater incentive for business to act. The report said, "Society would undoubtedly benefit significantly if businesses made a greater contribution to tackling the HIV/AIDS epidemic." The survey was commissioned by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and UNAIDS, and is available at: http://www.unaids.org/en/default.asp
