Domestic workers urged to report forced HIV testing

Incidents of domestic workers being forced to take HIV tests or disclose their status are still "widespread" in South Africa, local AIDS activists have said. The Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) said employers either forced or convinced domestic workers to have their blood tested by a doctor loyal to the employers, under the pretext that they wanted to put them on medical aid. TAC is urging all domestic workers to come forward and report such cases.
