The Gambia Diabetes Association has registered 4,000 diabetic cases, PANA reported on Thursday. A leading medical authority in Banjul cited lifestyle changes, overeating and lack of physical exercise as contributing factors to the high number of cases, adding that there could be some 6,000 unregistered cases in the country.
