Parliament reprimands Mazimhaka

    NAIROBI
    The Rwandan parliament has reprimanded former presidency minister Patrick Mazimhaka, according to a Rwanda News Agency (RNA) report on Thursday. It said parliament examined a report by the commission of inquiry into the mismanagement and embezzlement of funds when Mazimhaka was minister for rehabilitation and resettlement. Parliament also recommended that the authorities should take action against senior government officials implicated in the corruption scandal, including Christine Umutoni, the former director-general in the same ministry, and three other officials in the ministry. Though parliament reprimanded Mazimhaka, no resolution was taken against him.
