Cabinda security talks

    ABIDJAN
    Angolan Interior Minister Fernando Piedade dos Santos Nando held two days of talks this week with his Congo-Brazzaville counterpart, Pierre Oba, to discuss security along their common border. Angolan television said the talks, held in the northern enclave of Cabinda, also dealt with security in Cabinda, Angolan refugees in Congo-Brazzaville, and trade issues. It quoted a joint statement as saying that both governments had pledged to improve border patrols so as to "restore calm and security among residents of the two countries".
