Hussein Abas looks at Mosul's famous al-Nuri mosque from inside his destroyed home. His house is in Mosul's old city, which was heavily bombed during operations to retake the city from so-called Islamic State 2017. The house, which was occupied by IS, is still heavily damaged and contaminated with unexploded mortar shells. "I can't return, it's not safe. The house is full of ammunition. There are even mortar shells on the rooftop. It's very dangerous for the children."
