Ezgi Durmaz

  • Tirunesh, a migrant domestic worker from Ethiopia, was hospitalised in Beirut from April 2016 until her death in March 2017, suffering from an initial coma and then a throat injury of unknown cause. She was unable to speak and received no help from her former employer, agency or the Ethiopian consulate, according to migrant community leader Rahel Zegeye
