Alia* 33 years old, from Aldoraihim district south of Hodeidah city, has four children. The family was displaced when violent clashes reached their home village. Alia* has three brothers; the whole family now is living at one of the brothers’ house in Hodeidah. Her husband is a fisherman but he hasn’t worked since the clashes started. Her brothers are the family breadwinners, one brother is a motorbike driver and the other is working for a cafeteria.

Last Monday, her daughter Sabreen* started to suffer from diarrhoea and she immediately took her to the hospital. She knew about Cholera from TV and her elder brother suffered from Cholera a week earlier. In the hospital they examined her daughter and they provided her fluid solution. Her daughter’s health condition is improving. *Names have been changed
