Muhammad, 15, fled Susa village in Hajin, as violence escalated, and sought safety at Al-Hol camp in Hassakeh province, northeastern Syria, along with his older brother.
“We walked over 90 kilometers in harsh conditions to arrive here,” says Muhammad, recalling the arduous journey. “This is the fifth time that we are forced to flee our home,” he adds.Recent escalation in violence in Hajin, southeast of Deir Ezzor governorate, has forced over 800 families to flee their homes and seek safety at Al-Hol camp. - Date
