Esra, 12, Judi, 10, and Zehra, 7. Since fleeing Aleppo for Ankara in 2013, the daughters' mother Zubeyde Alahmad has worked tirelessly to secure schooling for the girls. Their experience in seeking education opportunities, marked by constant transfers between programs while managing financial and language barriers, has mirrored that of many refugees in Turkey, a country currently hosting 3.2 million Syrians – about one million of which are minors.
