A counsellor is meeting families in the Hassan Cham and Khazir camps to explain them that they can consult a MSF psychiatrist or a MSF psychologist if they feel the need. Hassan Cham and Khazir camps have been set up in the beginning of December to receive the displaced people who have fled the city of Mosul. The 17th October, the Iraqi forces have launched a big offensive to retake this city in the north-west of Iraq from the islamist state organization which made it the capital of his caliphate. MSF mobile teams; one psychologist, one psychiatrist and one counsellor come from Erbil to give medical consultations and specialized consultations in these camps. Without infrastructure facilities in the camp, the MSF teams are working in specially fitted buses.
