Work begins on national anti-HIV plan

Gabon has started to develop a national strategic plan against HIV/AIDS and expects to have it ready by the end of the year, the International Partnership against AIDS in Africa (IPAA) reported in its latest bulletin. The World Health Organisation, which is supporting the process to develop the plan, has contacted IPAA for assistance to complement funding and resources provided by the government and other partners, the IPAA said.
