Buyoya sets conditions

    NAIROBI
    Burundian President Pierre Buyoya on Monday said he would only sign texts of the draft agreement which had been agreed upon if the facilitator insisted on going ahead with the signing ceremony on 28 August. “Such gesture is necessary so as not to offend the mediator who has already sent out invitations to important world leaders, including US President Bill Clinton,” ABP quoted Buyoya as saying.
