Tremors from an earthquake centred in Afghanistan were felt in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe, on Tuesday, the Tajik news agency Asia-Plus reported. According to the Tajik authorities, the quake measuring four points on the Richter scale had its epicentre some 130 km southeast of Dushanbe, on Afghan territory, the report said. Dushanbe experienced only weak tremors measuring three points at 03:39 local time and there were no reports of casualties or damage, the dispatch said.
