Election dates announced

    ABIDJAN
    Legislative elections are to be held in Cape Verde on 14 January, Portuguese radio reported President Mascarenhas Monteiro as saying. They will be followed on 11 February by the first round of presidential polls while the date scheduled for a second round, if one is needed, is 25 February, RDP reported.
