Djibouti President Ismael Omar Gelleh issued a presidential decree on Thursday establishing a national anti-terrorism committee in keeping with the UN resolution compelling all member states to starve terrorist networks of financial and logistical support. The seven-member committee would comprise the ministers of justice, finance, interior and foreign affairs, the army chief-of-staff, the governor of the central bank and the director of national security, AFP reported on Thursday. The presidential decree said the committee would have "all the authority necessary to decide and take appropriate action to prevent and stop all terrorist attacks".
